It’s fun to be a woman.

There is at least one day a month where staying curled up in fetal position seems like the best idea. That day is today.

The blankets are warm and only closing my eyes seems to help alleviate the headache.

I wonder if Mark will stop playing Chinese checkers long enough to get me a cup of tea…
Afterall I did make apricot chicken and deviled sausage meals, with rice, fruit And lots of hot chocolates this week, surely a cup of tea :P

If you keep your other extremities warm (your head, neck, hands, body etc)… then apparently your feet are very good at adapting to the weather. To invigorate your winter, try some snow footing like in this guy’s article! I wonder if just cold wet footing counts for Auckland weather. Anyway I’m intrigued!

PS. By self experimentation of the net myth last night I found that night coughing can be significantly reduced by rubbing vicks or deep heat rub on the bottom of your feet and then wearing warm socks to bed. I think I might look more deeply into this ancient reflexology thing… where they believed the nerve endings of different parts of your feet are connected to the wellbeing of different parts of your whole body.

Best iPhone Apps for Twitter?

My favorite Twitter app is Tweetbot; it’s a great all-rounder. Tweetdeck gets a special mention because it’s easy to create lists in it. The downside being how annoying it can be as a desktop application, hogging your system resources, and it’s insistent little tweeps when your colleague puts it on instantaneous popup notifications mode.

No nos at gigs

cursed Friday the 13th show! No thank you to the photographer who moved the drummers monitor to get a better shot of the stage and the audience member who moved the singers monitor so they could have a better place to dance… that is how the band are hearing themselves onstage! idiots. ofcourse I could not see this as there were 200 dancing people between me at the sound desk And the stage, but I did wonder why they kept asking for the monitors to be turned up when they were set really loud at soundcheck.

it’s a boombox man!

it’s a boombox man!

One Month of awesomeness till a month of yayness!

Till I’ll be touring the USA. Yep, much excitement!!!! And This month I will be touring NZ with Ruby Frost… that is most awesome too because I love her music, it’s ways wonderful to do sound for an artist you’re a fan of :D

My face was melted off tonight and now I cannot sleep! Thanks Transit of Venus, Harvey Knows A Killer, Villainy and Shark Jump Thief… now give me my sleep back !

look, two moons!

oh so wide awake and it’s the middle of the night!

I will try and imagine fluffy cloud like sheep jumping across the full moon… however my eyes feel like headlights.

Mark and I went for a run today. We ran from the house up into the domain and did a full loop of the big fields, even going behind the grandstand with pressups at the goal post.

Have you ever played xbox konnect? It’s the coolest thing ever, my sister and her boyfriend introduced it to us on Monday night. Get some good exercise out of some of those boxing and dancing games where it rates your movement using perhaps a radar or infrared sensor?

Spent most of today mixing and agonizing over tomorrows BFM show in between being lost in the floydesque labyrinth world that is mixing Outrun The Buffolo’s EP! I’ve come to the conclusion that in certain types of music you can never have too much reverb and delay… but in others you can. in this case, it seems more is more!

Time warp

… but seriously, what’s up with time passing so quickly?!! where’s the slowmo button?
